The Surprise Teddy Bear

For two days I browsed online for a teddy bear.  As a child, I was surrounded by stuffed animals.  They were my friends.

As an adult, I've gifted other adults with teddy bears as The LORD has led me.  The comfort the stuffed bears brought to the dying and those who lost loved ones has been precious to me.

No one has ever given me a teddy bear.  So, I decided for Christmas, I'd gift myself one.  And I spent two days online "window-shopping".  (There are sooo many stuffed bears!)

Then last night the son (whom I've never met cause he has lived out of state) of my dearest friend sent me a Christmas card via FaceBook.

Guess what it was?

It was an animated teddy bear!  Oh, the tears!

And Anthony had no way of knowing.

But, my Abba did.

And He showed me His Tenderness toward me last night.  Through a friend I've never met but whose heart is as tender as God's.

And unsuspecting Anthony gifted me - not a real teddy bear, but - the Love and Care of God.  Which is priceless!

Thank you, Abba!

Thank you, Anthony!
