Christmas - Day 18

Christmas decorating is not complete until the Nativity is put in its place of honor in the home.  With the eye of an artist, every piece is carefully placed.

A little more to the left...

Ummm....put the manager at this angle...

PERFECT!

And Baby Jesus?  He was never placed in the scene until Christmas morning.  As the kids would come down the stairs full of wide-eyed anticipation, first and foremost, Baby Jesus had to be placed in the manger.

Happy Birthday Jesus for sure! If it's not about Him it's not Christmas.

I usually change the position of the statues every few days because they get tired standing still in just one place for the whole duration. Sometimes the shepherds are on the left, then the right ... and the sheep are all over the place. They never stand still.

A blessed Christmas to you all.

God bless.

What a sweet idea to have the children put baby Jesus in the manger on Christmas day!!!

It's my favorite decoration too. We've had one, a good sized one, for ages. My youngest grandson broke the angel this year... glue and memories...
